Uniform Rules
- The girls’ skorts/culottes or tunic are worn all year round.
- Parents will be able to choose whether children wear short or long sleeved shirts on any given day.
- Children may only wear the official school polar fleece top or vest or red shirts with St Joseph’s monogram.
- Children will be required to wear sandals in summer and shoes in winter.
- Only culturally appropriate jewellery to be worn, under their shirt.
- Long hair is to be tied back with plain navy, red or black hair ties/headbands.
- Only plain studs or sleepers may be worn.
- It is compulsory for children to wear the sunhat during Term 1 and Term 4.
Sports Uniform
The sports uniform is a red monogrammed shirt and navy blue shorts in a polyester fabric.
The sports uniform is compulsory for children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. They need to wear this uniform for all physical education lessons.
Netball Uniform
The Y 5 and Y 6 netball teams have the option to use the official St Joseph’s netball uniform; in this case, each player is expected to pay $20.00 for the use of this uniform, of which $10.00 is not refundable and $10.00 will be refunded when the uniform is returned, in reasonable condition, at the end of the season.
All the other teams wear the school sports uniform.
Pre-worn uniform items
If parents wish to buy, or donate, pre-worn uniform items, this can be done through the school office.
