PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents

What a wonderful Kakapo/Kakariki athletics day we had at the Takapuna Athletics Club. It was an AWESOME day for the students staff and parents.

The students were outstanding in the way they participated and behaved. It was great to see them having such fun and supporting each other at the various activities they participated in.

Our thanks to the many parent helpers. We really appreciate this help at these large events. With your support we would not be able to hold them. Thank you for taking time out of your busy weeks to support the children and staff. The children love seeing their parents involved.

Thank you to the staff for the wonderful way they ran the event. Lots of organisation went into it and the result was a fun, smoothly run day.

There were many highlights in the day for the children. A popular highlight was the parent race. Thank you to the Mums and Dads who participated in this event. It was certainly fun for the children to watch. Great role models!!

KAKAPO ZOO TRIP

The tamariki in the Kakapo team have been learning all about animals this term. Today we got to further extend our learning at the Auckland Zoo. The wonderful Zoo keepers taught us all about the creatures we have in ‘Awesome Aotearoa’. Thank you to all the parent helpers who came along!
