Principal’s Letter to the Children – March 27

Kia ora Te Kura O Hato Hohepa.

I trust you are all having a fun time at home with your families. I have heard from your teachers that you are having a great time with your Online Programme of Learning and that you have learnt how to use it very quickly. Well done.

Today is the last day of our first school term for this year. Over the next two weeks you can continue to use your teams google site. The teachers have put a lot on the site so there is plenty you can do if you want to. You don’t have to though. If you want to stay off the team google site until the new term starts on Wednesday 15 April, that is fine.

Your teachers, like you, will be on holiday for just over two weeks. They won’t be watching what you are doing with your activities or replying to your emails. They will be spending time with their families, just like you.

Over this holiday we will be celebrating Easter. We won’t be going to church for Easter this year as all the churches are closed for a while. You will instead be able to celebrate Easter at home with your family. I have sent your parents some activites you can do for Easter. Ask them to show the Easter activities to you.

You have a lovely holiday with your family at home.
