PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents,

Term 3 is flying by.

Children are preparing for the school production which is being held in Week 6 – 16-20 August. All children are expected to participate in each show. Please read the details below as the online bookings are open.

Tomorrow, Saturday 2 August, we are constructing the stage for the show between 9 am and midday. We would appreciate your help. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Next week the nominations for Board elections close midday, Wednesday 6 August. If you are considering standing or are considering nominating someone, please check out the Board Election notice below, with the link for nominations.

Next Thursday evening, Bishop Steve will be confirming our children who are participating in the parish Sacrament programme this year. Congratulations to all these children on receiving this very special Sacrament. This Sacrament represents the gift of the Holy Spirit in the lives of these children.

You will have received an email from AskYourTeam with a link to our annual ‘Community Involvement Survey’ earlier this week. Please can you complete it, as your feedback will assist the Board in developing our 2026 – 2028 strategic plan. The survey only takes about five minutes to complete. Thank you for completing it.

Wishing you a great week,

Ka manaakitia e te Atua

Every child in the school will be involved in the show and will be expected to be at the performances.

We will have four performances to ensure that all parents have the ability to see their children perform. We know that many children will have other commitments outside of school and we have tried to create a balance between other commitments and our community’s availability to come and watch the performances.

The performance times are as above. All children will be required to be dropped off for our evening performances to their Home Groups by 6pm.

Thank you so much to those who have already made kind offers to help, we couldn’t do it without you! We are looking for parents and family members that can help us with the many parts of production preparation, rehearsals and assist on the production nights.

We would also love some help making stars next week. If you can help with this, please email Natasha.
