PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents

It was certainly another unexpected announcement from the Prime Minster last night. Thank you all for your positive response. The school will be closed this week, however children of essential workers can register to come to school. Please email principal@sj.school.nz if your child is coming to school on Thursday and/or Friday due to your essential work commitments.

Online Programme of Learning

This morning you and your children will have recieved the link to the Online Programme of learning and Guidelines. The teachers reviewed and prepared the team google sites for this week. 

Student Led Conferences

This week’s Student Led Conferences have been postponed. Teachers will contact parents who had been booked in and will arrange an alternative date and time.

If you are booked in for next week, your appointment remains in place. 

School Mass

The School Mass that was to occur this coming Friday has been cancelled. We look forward to celebrating a school Mass with our parent and whanau community on Friday 25 September.

Rippa Rugby

The Rippa Rugby event that was to occur this week has been cancelled at this stage.

Team Kiwi Science Trip

The Team Kiwi Science trips that were planned for Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th of August have now been postponed. When new dates have been determined the Kiwi team will inform parents accordingly.

Weekend Sports

Any information the school recieves regarding weekend sports is sent directly to the parents of the students involved. Further information may be on the website of the sporting code.
